Melbourne Concert Cancelled...Outraged!!!

I purchased tickets for the Drowning Pool Melbourne Concert, for $96 dollars each. I was so excited about going, and I took a two hour train ride to get to the Palace theatre. When I arrived at 7:30 I was a little surprised that there was no one else there. However, the doors were not scheduled to open until 8. By 8 a number of people had showed up, but they still didn’t open the doors. I waited there until 9, and when they still hadn’t opened the doors I rang ticketek to see what was going on, but they were closed. I then walked around to different clubs to see whether the event had just changed venues. At 10 I finally went home in disbelief. I can’t believe that no one called or emailed to notify anyone that the concert had been cancelled. I wasted hours of my time going to the city, and waiting in the freezing cold. I am also angry that the Palace theatre didn’t have a sign on the door saying the concert had been cancelled. But mostly, I am disappointed and outraged that drowning pool didn’t have the decency to have anything posted on their MySpace saying that the concert was cancelled or apologise for abandoning their loyal fans. I will never go to one of their shows again.
